5 Books I Want To Read in February 2022

We’ve all had that moment when we set a goal to do something and we plan everything, and when the time comes, we don’t do it.

This could be anything from going to the gym to simply decluttering your closet.

For me, it’s reading.

I don’t know why, but even though I love reading, I struggle to actually grab a book, sit down and read.

Last month, my goal was to read 3 books. I read 1 and a half.

So I’m raising my goal from 3 to 5 books. Why? Because this month my main focus is to prioritize reading and to push myself.

The book that I’m currently reading is No Excuses!: The Power of Self-Discipline by Brian Tracy. In it, Tracy explains how important self-discipline is and how to improve it.

This inspired me to focus on really doing the work to achieve my goals.

I set up alarms and reminders for reading. And whenever I find myself distracted, I ask myself: “is what I’m doing something I truly want to do or am I doing it just to avoid what I should be doing?”.

We’re on the second week of February and so far this has worked. I hope to continue like this.
