3 Habits That Will Change Your Life
Last week I read the book that completely changed my life: Atomic Habits by James Clear.
These past few months I’ve been getting more and more into the self-growth world. I had always wanted to improve my productivity and creativity, and so I decided to try and read some self-help books.
This was not the first book that I read from this genre, but it is definitely the one that completely changed my life.
It’s been a week since I finished reading it and I’m a completely different person when it comes to my habits. You know in cartoons when a character is struggling to make a moral decision and an angel and devil figure appear to show the bad and good choices the character can make. I’ve been feeling like that. My devil would be procrastination, self-sabotage, or laziness, while my angel would be motivation, inspiration, or self-discipline.
Basically, the devil is what I feel like doing, and the angel is what I know I should be doing.
Every day I find myself arguing with my devil. And lately, I’ve been winning. Every day my laziness tries to convince me that there is no reason why I can’t just lay on the couch for a bit while I watch just one more episode.
